For the web2 LTT activity to be held between September 11, 2022 and September 17, 2022, our activities started with excitement with 32 participants from Turkey, Romania, Italy, France, Bulgaria and the host country Poland.
On September 11-17, 2022, the school was visited by guests from five European schools: Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy and the exotic French island of Reunion.
They started their visit to Poland with their arrival in Warsaw. After a night and a rest spent there, the group went on a tour of Warsaw. The young people visited the Warsaw Museum of Computers and Games and got to know some interesting places in Warsaw, such as: Łazienki Park, the Old Town, the Royal Route, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The next day, in Biała Podlaska, was entirely devoted to the subject of the meeting, namely: Web 2.0 tools. The focus was on a group of applications that are widely used in education.
Wednesday began with a meeting with President Michał Litwiniuk. The president received the guests in the conference room of the City Hall, he spoke in beautiful English about the history of the city, the current situation as well as the successes of its residents. He also presented the guests with small gifts. Then the Museum of Southern Podlasie was visited with an exhibition of icons. The guests raved about the city, its cleanliness and beauty.
Thursday is the day of departure to Kozłówka, Lublin and visits to the concentration camp at Majdanek. Majdanek made a great impression and a stir among the participants. Many of these young people knew nothing or little about the history of World War II. However, they had a very joyful impression after visiting Kozłówka and the Lublin Old Town.
The last day was devoted to summary, presentation of participation certificates by Director Długołęcki. The afternoon is a visit to Janów, a carriage ride and a farewell fire at the OHP center in Roskosz.
The whole stay was organized by a group of English teachers, a Russian teacher and an IT teacher who helps with the whole project. Very active students also took an active part in organizing this mobility.
The next project meeting will be held on the wonderful island of Reunion.
